Council profile

Baw Baw Shire is divided into four wards. There is a total of nine councillors.
  • Drouin Ward  (2 councillors)
  • Mount Worth Ward  (2 councillors)
  • North Ward  (2 councillors)
  • Warragul Ward  (3 councillors)

This structure came into effect at the November 2008 election as a result of an electoral representation review conducted in 2007. For more information about the review, visit the Baw Baw Shire Council representation review page.

Map of Baw Baw Shire, which is divided into four wards. North Ward includes Thomson, Baw Baw locality, Noojee, Rawson, Neerim South and Willow Grove. Warragul Ward includes Warragul, and Drouin Ward includes Drouin. Mount Warth Ward is in the south of the Shire and includes Trafalgar. The Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is not included in the municipality.
