Council profile

Cardinia Shire is divided into four wards. There is a total of seven councillors.
  • Bunyip Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Central Ward  (3 councillors)
  • Port Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Ranges Ward  (2 councillors)

This structure came into effect at the November 2008 election as a result of an electoral subdivision review conducted in 2008. For more information about the review, visit the Cardinia Shire Council subdivision review page.

Map of Cardinia Shire, which is divided into four wards. Ranges Ward includes Beaconsfield Upper, Emerald, Cockatoo and Gembrook. Bunyip Ward includes Pakenham Upper, Tonimbuk, Nar Nar Goon and Bunyip. Central Ward includes Officer and Pakenham. Port Ward includes Koo Wee Rup, Cora-Lynn, Lang Lang East and Lang Lang.
