Location:	Derrimut District is a metropolitan electorate located approximately 11 kilometres west of Melbourne.
Area:	50 square kilometres.
Region:	Western Metropolitan Region
Suburbs:	Albion, Ardeer, Derrimut, Sunshine North and Sunshine West.Parts of the suburbs of Deer Park, St Albans and Sunshine.
Features:	Derrimut District includes residential and industrial areas. Features include the Mount Derrimut Field Station of the University of Melbourne, the Orica Plant and the Derrimut grasslands.
