Location:	Monbulk District is located approximately 30 kilometres east of Melbourne.
Area:	223 square kilometres.
Region:	Eastern Victoria Region
Towns:	The Basin, Ferny Creek, Kallista, Kalorama, Kilsyth South, Monbulk, Mount Dandenong, Olinda, Sassafras, Sherbrooke, Tecoma, Tremont and Upwey.Parts of Belgrave, Boronia, Emerald, Ferntree Gully, Lysterfield, Macclesfield, Menzies Creek, Monbulk, Montrose, Mount Evelyn, Selby, Seville, Silvan and Wandin East.
Features:	Tourist attractions in Monbulk District include the Dandenong Ranges National Park, Yellingbo State Nature Reserve, Olinda State Forest and Silvan Reservoir. There are sparsely populated agricultural areas throughout the electorate, and some suburban areas in the west.
