Location:Northcote District is an inner metropolitan electorate located approximately five kilometres north-east of Melbourne.
Area:21 square kilometres.
Region:Northern Metropolitan Region
Suburbs:Alphington, Fairfield, Northcote and Thornbury.Part of the suburb of Preston.
Features:Northcote District includes residential areas, the John Cain Memorial Park, most of Yarra Bend Park, and the Northcote shopping complex.
