Area:	621 square kilometres.
Region:	Western Victoria Region
Towns:	Barrabool, Barwon Heads, Bellbrae, Belmont, Connewarre, Gnarwarre, Grovedale, Modewarre, Mount Moriac, Torquay and Waurn Ponds.Part of the Geelong suburb of Highton.
Features:	South Barwon District includes popular surf and swimming beaches and towns, and the Highton campuses of Deakin University. Industries in the area include tourism, fishing and agriculture.
