Location:Swan Hill District is a rural electorate located north-west of Melbourne.
Area:28,093 square kilometres.
Region:Northern Victoria Region
Towns:Birchip, Charlton, Donald, Kerang, Murtoa, St Arnaud, Sea Lake, Swan Hill, Warracknabeal, Wedderburn and Wycheproof.
Features:Natural features of Swan Hill District include Lake Tyrrell and the Murray River, which is a popular tourist destination and the centre of a flourishing irrigation area. Farming and agriculture are important industries throughout the region.
