Features of the District

Location:Tarneit District is a mainly urban electorate located approximately 22 kilometres west of Melbourne.
Area:130 square kilometres.
Region:Western Metropolitan Region
Suburbs:Tarneit and Werribee South.Parts of Hoppers Crossing and Werribee.
Features:The centre of Tarneit District is a rapidly developing residential area, while the north and south of the electorate remain largely open country. Features of the District include the Werribee Park Mansion, the Open Range Zoo and the Werribee Agriculture and Food Technology Precinct.
