Features of the District

Location:Williamstown District is an inner metropolitan electorate approximately four kilometres west of Melbourne.
Area:33 square kilometres.
Region:Western Metropolitan Region
Suburbs:Altona East, Brooklyn, Newport, Seaholme, Spotswood, Williamstown and Williamstown North.Parts of the suburbs of Altona, Altona North and Yarraville.
Features:Williamstown District includes residential and industrial areas, and features shipyards, a marina, a beach around Hobsons and Port Phillip Bays, and the old Gellibrand Fort site.
