Council profile

City of Greater Bendigo is divided into nine wards. There is a total of nine councillors.
  • Eaglehawk Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Eppalock Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Epsom Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Flora Hill Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Golden Square Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Kangaroo Flat Ward  (1 councillor)
  • North West Plains Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Sandhurst Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Strathfieldsaye Ward  (1 councillor)

Map of the City of Greater Bendigo, which is divided into nine wards. North West Plains Ward to the north and west of Bendigo includes Drummartin, Elmore, Goornong, Neilborough, Woodvale, Huntly, Marong and Lockwood. Eppalock Ward to the south and east of Bendigo includes Ravenswood, Eppalock, Lake Eppalock, Axedale, Derrinal, Heathcote and Kimbolton. An inset map of the central area shows seven wards. Eaglehawk Ward includes Eaglehawk North and Eaglehawk. Epsom Ward includes Ascot, Jackass Flat, East Bendigo and Wellsford. Strathfieldsaye Ward includes Strathfieldsaye. Kangaroo Flat Ward includes Kangaroo Flat, Big Hill and Mandurang. The central area is covered by three wards with Golden Square Ward to the west and south, Sandhurst Ward to the north and Flora Hill Ward to the east.
