Democracy Week - 18 to 24 October



With the State election on Saturday 25 November this year, the Victorian Electoral Commission together with The Age published an educational supplement, All About Democracy - A Guide to Voting & Elections in Victoria on 16 October.

The guide features articles and spreads taking you behind the scenes of an election. It also features the work of three students, each winners of the Democracy Week competitions.

Winners announced

Winners of the Democracy Week competitions are:

The winning student for each competition won an iPod Shuffle (valued at $97*) and their school a camera package, including a Kodak P850 camera featuring 12 x Optical Zoom and 5.1 Mega Pixels, a camera case and 512MB memory card (valued at over $800*).
