It extends from the Monington Peninsula and the boundaries of the Metropolitan Regions to Gabo Island and the State Border with NSW. The map shows the towns of Omeo, Warburton, Warragul, Leongatha, Yarram, Sale, Bairnsdale, Orbost, and Cann River.

The Region also includes Corner Inlet, the Snowy River country, Mount Baw Baw, and a series of lakes and islands. It covers Phillip Island, French Island and the Mornington Peninsula.Industries include tourism, intensive farming and the Yarra Valley wine growing region. |
