At the upcoming 2008 elections, City of Moonee Valley will elect nine councillors from three wards.
As a result of an electoral representation review in 2008, the numbers of wards and councillors have changed since the last election. For more information about the review, visit the Moonee Valley City Council representation review page.

Central Ward includes Strathmore Heights, Strathmore, Essendon North, Niddrie, Essendon and Aberfeldie. South Ward includes Moonee Ponds, Ascot Vale, Travancore and Flemington.

- South Ward (3 councillors)
- West Ward (3 councillors)
