Council profile

Shire of Nillumbik is divided into seven wards. There is a total of seven councillors.
  • Blue Lake Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Bunjil Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Edendale Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Ellis Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Sugarloaf Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Swipers Gully Ward  (1 councillor)
  • Wingrove Ward  (1 councillor)

Map of the Shire of Nillumbik, which is divided into seven wards. Bunjil Ward in the north-west includes Strathewen, Arthurs Creek, Doreen, Cottles Bridge, Hurstbridge and Wattle Glen. Sugarloaf Ward in the east includes St Andrews, Christmas Hills, Kangaroo Ground and Research. Wingrove Ward includes the southern part of Eltham. Swipers Gully Ward includes the northern part of Eltham. Ellis Ward covers Diamond Creek. Blue Lake Ward includes Plenty and Yarrambat. Edendale Ward includes Eltham North and part of St Helena.
