Scrutineer FormsTop

The scrutineer's role is to observe the issuing of ballot papers and the counting of votes on behalf of a candidate. Scrutineers are engaged by the candidate and their appointment must be made in writing through completion of a Scrutineer's Appointment Form (PDF 53kB).

Candidate and Scrutineer HandbooksTop

Candidate and Scrutineer Handbooks are produced to assist candidates with the electoral process.

New Handbooks are produced for each election to ensure that the most up-to-date information is included.

These handbooks were prepared for the 2010 Victorian State election. They do not reflect legislative or procedural changes that have been made since their publication and they are provided for reference purposes only.
