Strathbogie Shire is divided into six wards. There is a total of seven councillors.

Lake Nagambie Ward includes Nagambie. Honeysuckle Creek Ward includes Miepoll and Violet Town. Seven Creeks Ward covers the town of Euroa. Hughes Creek Ward includes Avenel and Ruffy. Mount Wombat Ward includes Strathbogie.
