Location:Geelong District is an urban electorate located south-west of Melbourne.
Area:45 square kilometres.
Suburbs:Belmont, Breakwater, Geelong, Geelong East, Geelong South, Geelong West, Herne Hill, Manifold Heights, Newcomb, Newtown, St Albans Park, Thomson and Whittington. Part of Fyansford.
Features:Situated on Corio Bay, Geelong is the largest provincial city in the State and includes a large retail and commercial centre. Other features of the Geelong District include Geelong Racecourse, Eastern Park and Kardinia Park.
