Swan Hill Rural City is divided into four wards. Robinvale Ward in the north includes Robinvale. Murray-Mallee Ward includes Manangatang, Boundary Bend and Nyah West. Lakes Ward in the south includes Ultima and Lake Boga. Central Ward covers Swan Hill.
