New councillor for Glen Eira City Council

Jane Karslake has been elected as a councillor for Camden Ward on Glen Eira City Council, after the Victorian Electoral Commission conducted a countback of votes from the October 2020 general election.

The election manager, Roger Millar, declared the result at 11:30 am today.

The countback included unsuccessful candidates who were still eligible for election.

The vacancy on Glen Eira City Council occurred after the passing of Councillor David Zyngier.
