Andrew Fullagar is Streeton Ward's new representative on Yarra Ranges Shire Council, after a by-election was held to fill an extraordinary vacancy.

Mr Fullagar was among 6 candidates standing for the by-election and will represent Streeton Ward on Yarra Ranges Shire Council until the next general council election in October 2024.

The Election Manager, Genevieve Hammerton, declared the result at 5:30 pm on Monday 28 February at Silvan Public Hall, 271 Monbulk Road, Silvan.

The extraordinary vacancy arose due to the resignation of Councillor Cathrine Burnett-Wake.
