Electoral education sessions for people with disabilities

Yes/No cards used in our voter education sessionsNow is the time to book our VEC Democracy Ambassadors for electoral education sessions to ensure that people with disabilities, and their supporters, are voting correctly in the local council elections. Ballot packs have already been mailed and we are ready to support people to learn how to complete their votes.

VEC Democracy Ambassadors are educators with personal experience of disability and share a desire to see people of all abilities informed about Victoria’s democracy and their right to vote. Sessions are 30 minutes in length, interactive and fun.  Education sessions provide a perfect activity for people living in specialist disability accommodation services, self-advocacy and support groups, and any services or classes that are operating remotely.

Our sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Book a free session today
