Passport to Democracy remote incursions for schools

Usually by this stage of Term 3 our Victorian Institute of Teaching-registered outreach educators would be busy visiting Victorian schools and delivering free incursions, where we speak to students about democracy, voting and why every vote counts. We have shifted our delivery online. We can either:

  • pre-record a voiceover to accompany a Power Point presentation and learning activities, which students can watch and complete in their own time
    or
  • present remotely to your students using a video conferencing platform such as Zoom or MS Teams.

As always, our Passport to Democracy lesson plan resources remain available for download free of charge on the Passport to Democracy website – these curriculum-aligned resources are highly adaptable and we are happy to answer any questions you may have to ensure you feel confident using them with your students.

NEWSFLASH: Stay tuned for our exciting new look website, which will deliver increased functionality for teachers and students! Due to launch in September 2020.
