Young people and education

Screenshot from the Passport to Democracy websiteWe have also been working on some exciting projects for young people. We invited young people from metropolitan and regional communities to work with us on a pilot digital engagement campaign for the local council elections. The campaign will be targeted to specific areas. Key concepts and information about the democratic process are provided in a digital style that young people tell us is relatable and engaging.

We are also close to launching our updated Passport to Democracy website. The new site will deliver enhanced user experiences and better tailoring of information to certain groups. It has information for teachers and students learning about civics and citizenship. It also includes information for young voters who have left school and feel poorly informed about voting and Victoria’s electoral system. The new site is available from 2 November 2020.

We can tailor presentations to suit your needs and can offer pre-recorded audio presentations and/or live presentations to students over video-meeting software.
