No cut off age for voting

The Victorian State election is on Saturday 29 November and all eligible voters are being urged to ensure their enrolment details are up-to-date to vote.

Electoral Commissioner Warwick Gately said: ‘It is important that all eligible Victorians take part in November’s State election. There is no upper age limit, so I urge everyone to take part and have their say in this election’.

Voters can enrol or update their enrolment online at vec.vic.gov.au or pick up an enrolment form at any Australia Post or Australian Electoral Commission Office. They can also call 131 832 to have a form sent by post. The electoral roll closes at 8.00 pm on Tuesday 11 November.

For information about alternative voting options for those who cannot vote on election day, visit the VEC’s website at vec.vic.gov.au or call 131 832.
