Roll into City Square

Students and workers in Melbourne’s CBD have one last chance to stop-off at Driving Votes to enrol or update their details before the roll closes at 8.00 pm tomorrow.

City Square is the last stop for the Victorian Electoral Commission’s Driving Votes roadshow, having visited 20 destinations across greater Melbourne and regional Victoria over the last month.

Electoral Commissioner Warwick Gately, AM, said: ‘People will find it much quicker to have their say on election day on Saturday 29 November if they are correctly enrolled. I urge everyone to make sure their details are up-to-date before the roll closes at 8.00 pm tomorrow’.

Driving Votes staff will be on hand all day at City Square, providing on-the-spot enrolment checks and helping voters update their details or enrol for the first time.

Voters can also check their enrolment details online at vec.vic.gov.au or by calling the VEC on 131 832.

Following the close of rolls, all enrolled Victorians should be on the lookout for their EasyVote Guide in the letterbox from the week commencing Monday 17 November. The Guide will provide each elector with details of their district and region, voting centre locations and what to do if they can’t vote on election day.
