Candidates announced for Greater Geelong City Council elections
A total of 53 candidates have nominated in the Greater Geelong City Council elections, with 13 nominating for Bellarine Ward, 18 nominating for Brownbill Ward, 11 nominating for Kardinia Ward and 11 nominating for Windermere Ward.
The candidates, in ballot paper order, are:

Candidate statements and responses to the candidate questionnaire will be available on the VEC website from Monday 2 October.
Ballot packs will be delivered from Tuesday 10 October to all voters enrolled as at 4.00 pm 1 September.
Voters will have until 6.00 pm Friday 27 October to ensure their ballot papers are completed and in the mail. Voting is compulsory for voters listed on the State electoral roll for these elections as at 4.00 pm on Friday 1 September 2017.
You are encouraged to vote (but won’t be fined if you don’t) if you:
- are aged 70 years or over on election day, or
- live outside Greater Geelong City Council, or
- applied to Greater Geelong City Council to be on the roll.
