Candidates announced for Greater Bendigo City Council postal by-election

Eight candidates have nominated in the Greater Bendigo City Council, Lockwood Ward postal byelection.

The candidates, in ballot paper order, are:

WILLIAMS, Vaughan
CARRINGTON, Colin
NICHOLAS, Donna
MARTINEK, Mary-Ann
HOLIAN, Robert
EDGAR, Emily
MISHRA, Ajay
SHALEVSKI, Tayne

Candidate statements and information will be available at vec.vic.gov.au later this week.

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) will send ballot packs to all voters who were correctly enrolled for Lockwood Ward by the close of roll. Voting closes at 6 pm on Friday 27 March.

Election Manager Mandy Cooper advises voters to vote as soon as possible. ‘Post or hand deliver your completed ballot pack by the deadline to make your vote count,’ Ms Cooper said. ‘Voting closes at 6 pm on 27 March, but our advice is to not leave it to the last minute.’
