Child safety

We are committed to the health and wellbeing of all children and young people. We want children and young people to be safe, happy and empowered. We have zero tolerance for child abuse, and all allegations and safety concerns will be addressed quickly, seriously and consistently.

We are committed to the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from multicultural communities. We are committed to providing a safe environment for children with disabilities. We are committed to recognising and including the identity of LGBTIQ+ children.

We are aware of our requirement to prioritise the safety of children we engage with during our face-to-face or online electoral education sessions, and children who accompany their parents or guardians to voting centres.
