Education and Inclusion
The VEC's Education and Inclusion Team explores the role democracy plays in people's lives and encourages a culture of active citizenship.
Our aim is to facilitate electoral inclusion by empowering people with the knowledge and skills to participate.

Young people connect the issues they care about with democracy and elections through our interactive schools program Passport to Democracy (external link)
We provide culturally responsive electoral outreach for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities
Our electoral access services for people with disability aim to ensure that everyone is equal at the ballot box.
Our engagement programs for culturally and linguistically diverse communities help people to understand their democratic rights, and how to enrol and vote correctly.
People without a permanent home have the same right to enrol and vote as every other Australian citizen. Our work on homelessness and voting aims to make this a reality.
Our electoral education and information resources can be used with your school or community group.
