New councillor for Greater Bendigo City Council

David Thorpe is the new representative on Greater Bendigo City Council, after a by-election was held to fill an extraordinary vacancy.

David Thorpe was among 6 candidates standing for the by-election and will represent Lockwood Ward on Greater Bendigo City Council until the next local council elections in October 2028.

Election Manager Angela Ang declared the result at 5 pm on Thursday 15 October at 36 Torrens Street, Marong.

The extraordinary vacancy happened due to the passing of Councillor Donna Nicholas.
