  • Computer Count Team Leader

    This role oversees the computer count process to support accurate election results.

  • Counting Team Leader

    This role supervises the ballot paper count to ensure an accurate, secure and orderly count process.

  • Activity Lead

    This role supervises a small team to deliver a specific election activity. The role follows established procedures and written instructional products, with a line manager available on site for direction and support.

    This role leads a small team to deliver a defined project or function with a high level of independence.

  • Data Entry Operator

    This role supports the accurate and efficient processing of election results by entering data from ballot papers.

  • Counting Officer

    This role is responsible for sorting and counting ballot papers accurately, securely, and in accordance with electoral procedures.

  • Office Assistant

    The Officer Assistant Level 1 provides manual support across a range of routine tasks as directed by the manager.

    The Office Assistant Level 2 provides administrative support across a range of duties and operational tasks, working with some independence while following direction from the manager.

    The Office Assistant Level 3 provides high-level administrative support to help deliver election, program or project activities effectively.

  • Post-election roles

    Voting is compulsory in Victoria. After election day, we follow up with electors who appear not to have voted.

    This role is responsible for overseeing allocated activities such as roll scanning and reconciliation, excuse processing, mail processing, assessing responses, and payments processing, in an efficient, impartial and professional manner.

  • Compulsory Voting Officer

    The Compulsory Voting Officer Level 1 supports the delivery of compulsory voting enforcement activities by completing clearly defined, routine tasks under close supervision.

    The Compulsory Voting Officer Level 2 supports the delivery of compulsory voting enforcement activities. It involves tasks such as roll scanning, processing mail and applications, and responding to public enquiries.
