Election offices operate within hubs to manage voting, vote processing, and counting activities for a specific district. Roles at hubs and election offices work across the election period, from preparing materials before election day through to counting votes and returning materials afterwards.

Logistics and Resourcing District Officer
This role works as part of the Logistics and Resourcing team to prepare, receive, dispatch and secure election materials and resources for a specific district. You'll work closely with the election management team for your allocated district on activities such as preparing materials for voting centres, managing ballot papers and electoral rolls, and handling the return of materials on election night.

Staffing Officer
This role works as part of the staffing team to deliver staffing services for a specific district. You'll support the identification and appointment of temporary staff for voting centres and hub operations, help with training and rostering, and assist with timesheets and performance assessments.

This role supervises a small team of Counting Officers during a range of vote processing and counting activities across the count period.

Office Assistant
The Office Assistant Level 1 role provides manual support across a range of routine tasks in the hub, as directed by their manager. These staff support activities such as:
- reception
- site management and facilities
- logistics and resourcing operations.
The Office Assistant Level 2 role provides administrative support across a range of duties and operational tasks, working with some independence while following direction from their manager. Office Assistant Level 2 staff support activities such as:
- staffing administration
- election office administration, including results entry.
