    The 2020-21 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to Ringwood District.

    Ringwood District lost:

    • 986 voters to Croydon District (part of Croydon South)
    • 4,853 voters to Warrandyte District (part of Ringwood North).

    Ringwood District gained:

    • 7,531 voters from Bayswater District (Heathmont; part of Ringwood)
    • 5,324 voters from Box Hill District (parts of Blackburn, Forest Hill and Nunawading)
    • 2,742 voters from Forest Hill District (parts of Forest Hill and Vermont).
