2018 State election

The Victorian State election is on Saturday 24 November 2018. Nominations will open from Wednesday 31 October.

Candidate Handbooks

The VEC produces Candidate Handbooks to assist candidates with the nomination process.

Candidate handbooks for the 2018 State election are now available.

For unscheduled election events, such as by-elections, handbooks are produced as soon as possible.

Privacy and candidate information

The VEC is required to collect and disclose relevant candidate information. See Privacy at the Victorian Electoral Commission for further details.
