Location:Gembrook District is a mixed rural and urban fringe electorate located approximately 40 kilometres south-east of Melbourne.
Area:452 square kilometres.
Towns:Avonsleigh, Beaconsfield, Beaconsfield Upper, Clematis, Cockatoo, Dewhurst, Gembrook, Guys Hill, Mount Burnett, Nangana and Pakenham Upper. Parts of Berwick, Emerald, Harkaway, Menzies Creek, Nar Nar Goon North, Officer and Pakenham.
Features:The District includes rapidly developing residential areas along the Princes Highway corridor, and intensive farming country in the Dandenongs. Natural features include the Cardinia Reservoir and forests and mountains in the east of the District.
