Nepean How-to-vote cards

Listen

A how-to-vote card (HTVC for short) is a printed guide that explains how a person or group wants you to fill out your ballot paper. How-to-vote cards are a suggestion only – how you vote is up to you.

All how-to-vote cards must be properly authorised

How-to-vote cards must also be registered with the VEC to be:

  • handed out on election day (Saturday 2 May) within 400 metres of a voting centre
  • carried by our mobile voting teams.

How-to-vote cards don't need to be registered to be handed out during the early voting period.

How-to-vote card registration is now open and closes at 12 noon on Friday 24 April.

Find out how to register a how-to-vote card.

How-to-vote cards

There are no how-to-vote cards registered in the Nepean by-election yet.

There may be a short delay between when a how-to-vote card is registered and when it appears online.

We’ll update this page with new how-to-vote cards as they are registered.
