Features of the District

Location:Hastings District is a mixed rural and urban fringe electorate, located approximately 42 kilometres south-east of Melbourne.
Area:465 square kilometres.
Towns:Bittern, Blind Bight, Cannons Creek, Crib Point, French Island, Hastings, HMAS Cerberus, Langwarrin, Langwarrin South, Pearcedale, Somerville, Tooradin, Tyabb and Warneet. Parts of Baxter, Clyde, Cranbourne South, Devon Meadows, Frankston North and Moorooduc.
Features:The District features include the Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve and the French Island National Park. Other features include the HMAS Cerberus naval base and the Western Port steel works.
