Location:South Barwon is an regional urban and rural electorate located south-west of Melbourne.
Area:519 square kilometres.
Suburbs:Armstrong Creek, Barrabool, Bellbrae, Breamlea, Charlemont, Freshwater Creek, Gnarwarre, Grovedale, Highton, Jan Juc, Moriac, Mount Duneed, Mount Moriac, Paraparap, Torquay and Waurn Ponds. Parts of Bells Beach and Connewarre.
Features:The District includes popular surf and swimming beaches and towns, and the Highton campuses of Deakin University. Industries in the area include tourism, fishing and agriculture.
