We will conduct a postal by-election for Anglesea Ward in August 2019.
Council countback – 2 July 2019
A countback has been scheduled for 11.00 am on Tuesday 2 July 2019 at the Council Chambers, 1 Merrijig Drive, Torquay, to fill an extraordinary vacancy in Winchelsea Ward.
Surf Coast Shire Council was subject to a representation review in 2012.
Surf Coast Shire is divided into four wards. Torquay Ward includes Torquay and Jan Juc. Anglesea Ward includes Anglesea, Aireys Inlet and Fairhaven. Lorne Ward includes Lorne and Deans Marsh. Winchelsea Ward includes Winchelsea, Moriac, Modewarre, Mount Duneed and Bellbrae.
