Candidates announced for Darebin and Whittlesea postal by-elections

7 candidates have nominated in the Darebin City Council, North West Ward and 11 in Whittlesea City Council, Lalor Ward postal by elections.
The candidates for each council, in ballot paper order, are
North West Ward, Darebin City Council:

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) will send ballot packs to all voters who were correctly enrolled for North West and Lalor wards by the close of roll. Voting closes at 6 pm on Friday 1 August.
Electoral Commissioner Sven Bluemmel advises voters to vote as soon as possible. ‘Post or hand deliver your completed ballot pack by the deadline to make your vote count,’ Mr Bluemmel said. ‘Your local mail might be picked up earlier than 6 pm, so don’t leave it to the last minute.’
