Angela Villella is the new representative on Darebin City Council, after a by-election was held to fill an extraordinary vacancy.

Angela Villella was among 7 candidates standing for the Darebin City Council by-election and will represent North West Ward until the next council general election in October 2028.

Election Manager Gerry Cartwright declared the result at 3:30 pm today at Preston City Hall, 284 Gower Street, Preston.

The extraordinary vacancy on Darebin City Council happened due to the passing of Councillor Gaetano Greco.
