The 2020-21 redivision of State electoral boundaries made the following changes to Geelong District.
Geelong District lost:
- 3,313 voters to South Barwon District (part of Belmont).
Geelong District gained:
- 1,404 voters from Bellarine District (Moolap)
- 5,275 voters from Polwarth District (Bannockburn, Batesford, Fyansford, Gheringhap, Murgheboluc, Russells Bridge, Stonehaven and Sutherlands Creek).
