Voting options

Voting is your right. Voting means you get to have your say about who represents you in the Victorian Parliament. That’s what our democracy is all about.

Voting is also a responsibility. If you don’t vote, we may send you a fine.

There are several different ways you can vote in the Nepean District by-election.

Low-sensory voting

We’re holding a low-sensory mobile voting session on Tuesday 21 April.

As much as possible, during this session you’ll find:

  • natural lighting instead of artificial lighting
  • extra space around voting booths
  • a temperature-controlled environment
  • a quieter voting centre

We'll also have staff who know how to support people with a non-visible disability at this session.
